Internal Dispute Resolution (IDR) Procedures


The COSL Constitution and the Credit Ombudsman Rules state that every Member must have in place Internal Dispute Resolution (IDR) Procedures in place.

IDR Procedures are rules that govern how a consumer may make a complaint to a Member of the Credit Ombudsman. A complaint cannot be dealt with by the Credit Ombudsman Service until it has been through the Member's IDR Procedures.
